What do you wear to SJA training?

We advise delegates attend in warm clothing (we suggest lots of layers that can be added or removed). In order to safeguard everyone on our courses, delegates are strongly encouraged to take part in the national lateral flow testing (LFT) scheme and do a test 24 hours prior to attending a training course.

How long is a first aid course?

These courses generally take about one day, usually around 6 or 7 hours of tuition with both theoretical and practical elements. What happens if I fail that exam? At the end of First Aid courses, you must complete a multiple-choice question paper. If you fail this, you will have one opportunity to retake. If failed a second time, you will need to book and sit the course again, giving you 2 more opportunities to retake.

Are online First Aid courses legitimate? If you need First Aid for work – no matter where you work – then the short answer is no – you can’t just complete an online course. Appropriate First Aid training must include face to face training and assessment of practical skills.

Can my employer make me do a first aid course?
