What is the difference between Anthelios and Anthelios XL?
Texture is probably the main difference between Anthelios Lait SPF 45 and Anthelios XL Cream SPF 45. Lait 45 was a lotion; Anthelios XL SPF 45 Cream, as the name suggests, is a cream. Formulated with Mexoryl SX and Mexoryl XL, it delivers excellent UVA/UVB protection in a lotion formulation.

Who is the owner of La Roche Posay?
That’s fine, but what’s interesting is that not too long ago, L’Oreal, the company that owns La Roche-Posay, was denigrating avobenzone in favor of Mexoryl SX! Why they’re now using avobenzone is a mystery, but as far as this sunscreen product is concerned, it’s an overall dud.
