Most Habitat ReStores Accept the Following Types of Donations. Furniture: Couches, dining sets, dressers, bookshelves, end tables (no rips, stains, broken parts or pet damage). Building materials: Lumber, plywood, trim, block, fencing, insulation (preferably new or great condition).
What is sold at ReStore?
Habitat ReStores sell new and gently used building materials, furniture, appliances and much more. Depending on what’s been donated to any given Habitat ReStore, you may find items like kitchen cabinets, appliances and lumber from a home restoration.

- Call local churches or other types of aid organizations and ask if they take firewood donations.
Can you negotiate price at Habitat ReStore?
No. Our ReStore does not negotiate on prices with customers. Items that have been on the shelves for a certain period of time may be reduced in price by ReStore staff, but please remember, the proceeds from our store go directly to Habitat for Humanity and this is not a flea market.

How to qualify for a Habitat home
- Prospective Habitat homeowners must demonstrate a need for safe, affordable housing. Need will vary from community to community.
- Once selected, Habitat homeowners must partner with us throughout the process.
- Homeowners must also be able and willing to pay an affordable mortgage.
Does the ReStore buy stuff?
A Habitat ReStore accepts new and used building materials, furniture, appliances and home goods from individuals, retailers, businesses and contractors. These good quality items are sold to the general public at a fraction of retail prices, with all proceeds going to Habitat for Humanity.
Is the ReStore cash only?
Remember, all proceeds earned by the ReStore directly helps to build homes for families in need in our community. What types of payment do you accept at the ReStore? We gladly accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, checks (with ID) and cash.
