Wendy Knitting Yarns and Wools Wendy is a traditional yarn manufacturer reknowned for it’s long running Peter Pan baby yarns. Some of the Wendy yarns are now considered classics and again they are brought to you by Thomas Ramsden, who also brought Twilleys and Robin Value yarns.
Where is Wendy yarn made?
Located on Netherfield Road in part of the old Gordon Mill, the company produced knitting yarns, it was the business of Carter & Parker when it began.

Wool Warehouse is proud to re-introduce two iconic British brands to our yarn range, Peter Pan and Wendy. Peter Pan and Wendy yarns have been loved by knitters and crocheters for many years, but sadly fell into administration at the beginning of the global pandemic in March 2020.

Peter Pan is now part of the the Thomas. B. Ramsden group which includes, Robin, Wendy, Twilleys of Stamford and Peter Pan. Peter Pan yarns over the last year have undergone a major revamp with all of their hand knitting yarns now being created with a new softer yarn blend and the difference is unbelievable.
